Alice Brock’s Stockbridge, Mass., restaurant inspired Arlo Guthrie’s 1967 song “Alice`s Restaurant Massacree,” as well as a movie and cookbook. Brock closed her last restaurant in 1979 and moved to Cape Cod, where she is a painter and gallery owner.
