Yvette Doss is Los Angeles-based writer and editor. She holds a bachelor of philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley. She is co-founder of the weekly city newspaper, the L.A. Alternative, and former editor of Frontera Magazine. She is currently managing editor of Tu Ciudad Los Angeles, a Latino city magazine, and is working on her first book.¶ ¶ Yvette Doss does fundraising for Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Ind. A native of Los Angeles, she was founding editor of an alternative paper and a Latino zine. Doss has written for the Los Angeles Times, Ms. Magazine and NPR.
