I believe in family unity. My family is pretty descent sized. I have my brother, my sister, my dad, my mom, five uncles, four aunts, and then I have my cousins and my grandma. We are a very close and dependable family.
For example, I remember back when my grandma got hurt. One day I was feeling sick and missed school. I was dozing off when I heard some loud noises and my grandma scream. I ran to where it came from and saw my grandma dazed on the floor. She fell down the stairs, like thirteen steps. I picked up the phone and called my dad. In like twelve minutes everybody shows up at the house. We took her to the hospital and didn’t leave her until she got better. My point is that we’re a close united family that is always there for each other.
I believe my family can teach me a lot. My dad is always giving me advice and trying to teach me to be a man, teaching how to handle certain situations. I learned a lot from him. l he has taught me about life lessons which has had a huge impact on me. I continue to work on my character as a person. I’m not perfect, but my father makes me want to do better and be better.
I believe that a close family is crucial to be a good person. Don’t get me wrong some people that don’t have a family make it pretty far, but imagine if they had a close family. You family makes you a responsible person. You aren’t just born like that. You family is your true friend, everybody else is just an acquaintance. I know they have taught me enough to be successful and I know because of them I’m going to be somebody big.
I don’t want to let my family down because I know how proud they are of me. I know I’m not going to let them down because they’ve raised me well. They showed me how to handle situations. That is why I believe in a united family because I know as a result of them being there for me I’m going to succeed.
