Why life is great

“Love life and life will love you back. Love people and they will love you back”. You have total control of your life. So why does life suck? Because you let it suck. Or why is life great? Because you make it great. I believe that life is what you make it out to be. How life plays out for you depends on the decisions you make such as controlling how others influence you, the attitude you have, and the chances you take.

Family, friends, and that special someone, these are the people who will influence your life the most, for better or for worse. Never give in to peer pressure. Sure it’s hard to say no to drugs when all the cool kids are sitting there passing you a joint saying “come on bro it’s just weed”, but in the end when they’ve done nothing with their lives and your goals are within reach you’ll be glad you said no. Never let that special someone make you do something you aren’t ready for, if they can’t respect your decisions then they are not worth your time. In this world there will be people you encounter who will try to take control of you, if you let it happen you become nothing more than a puppet, but stop them and you’ve successfully overcome a great obstacle, congratulations.

A positive attitude can guide anyone through the toughest problems. It’s so much easier to be depressed than it is to be happy but the effort you put in to stay on the bright side has a huge payoff. It’s difficult to find good in this world but it is always possible. And for those times when it seems all hope is gone, just keep your head up and push yourself forward because eventually every wrong is fixed in the end. Like when my last girlfriend broke up with me I thought there was just no point in living anymore. But after three days of crying I realized that although I stood there heartbroken and hopeless, I was still standing there. I figured out that I could be happy again, all I had to do was look pass this and into the long bright future I had ahead of me. Never stop to cry because the world won’t stop to wipe your tears, life goes on, so either move on with it or get swallowed by the past

Living a life never taking chances is like trying to drive a parked car, you achieve nothing and years later you’re in the exact same place. Don’t be afraid to live life to its fullest because if you don’t one day you will look back and regret it. It’s ok to take risks because “what if” should never have to cross your mind. I believe that life is what you make it, so if you haven’t started shaping yours into an incredible experience, now’s your chance.
