I believe that people learn from their mistakes in order to be good at something or accomplish something they want.
For an example before inventors like Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison perfected an invention, they made lots of mistakes trying to invent stuff and to accomplish what they wanted they had to make those mistakes and learn from their mistakes in order to accomplish their goals. Without those mistakes they wouldn’t learn and accomplish their inventions.
When I started playing football with my friends, I sucked and I made of mistakes and got injured a lot playing football. I caught the ball wrong, didn’t know where to run to and wasn’t looking at the other players or paying attention. I made the team I was playing with lose. My palms sweating, I ran up the field to catch the football. I didn’t catch the ball. The other kids got mad when I messed up and yelled at me and told me to stop playing with them. I felt bad and decided to ask one my friends to help me get better to play football.
I asked my friend Pedro to teach me to play better and do better so I could be good in football. At first we went to the park and started to do basic training. After that we went with catching and running with the ball. Running and jogging, I practice for hours and hours. My friends and I practiced together and had fun playing football. Feeling my heart beat faster and faster, I ran into the end zone and score a touchdown. Then we started to play football in the park again. When Pedro was talking, I was sometimes not paying attention and sometimes had my iPod on. But he didn’t get mad and still he practiced with me and our other friends. I was reading Friday night lights, the best-selling book about High school football by H.G. Bissinger.
After a while I got better and didn’t make the same mistakes as before. I had learned from my mistakes and didn’t do them again. We started to play football games at my house and we were there for hours. We almost played every day and then I went with to football tryouts in school. I learned from my mistakes as Albert and Thomas Edison did. I perfected myself and my game to accomplish what wanted to do, that’s why I believe people learn from their mistakes.
