The Outdoors

From the stars in the sky to the animals that used to run where we have polluted the earth with our luxuries. This is what I believe is the outdoors. I myself love the outdoors and live there. There are some people that think the outdoors is just a place that should be turned into a mall or some sort of shopping complex. This land was only nature and its surroundings: no industries, malls, or housing developments. I believe that people should see what our ancestors used to see.

One reason why I love the outdoors is because I can actually see all of the stars and planets. When I go out to my hunting camp, there is nothing but animals and their surroundings. I can actually go out on the front porch and look up and be able to see everything that there is to see, but in the city there is nothing but lights and houses. YI can’t really see much of anything in the city. To me a house is just a place to sleep in, but to be out in the woods looking at the animals is something that cannot be explained I words.

Another reason that I love the outdoors is the animals. I am a big time hunter, and I can go out in the woods, sit down, and observe all of the wild life that there is out there. I love going out and watching all the squirrels, chipmunks, deer, rabbits, and the occasional bear. To just go out and see what they do in their natural habitat is an unbelievable experience. To see how they can fend for themselves is wonderful. When people think of hunters, they think only of them killing animals, but that’s not what hunting is all about. Most people go to a zoo too see animals, but to get the real-life feeling you have to go out and observe it for yourself. When I was younger my parents took me to zoos but when I went out to my camp for the first time I feel in love with it.

My final reason is that I like to go out and get away from everything there is in the city. To just go out in the woods with some friends and go four wheeling, hiking, or to see the views is really something that most people don’t get to enjoy. Most people live in a city and don’t get to see what the country folks get to enjoy. There are some people who truly don’t like the outdoors, but most people who say they don’t like the outdoors have never actually been out there and have got to see what happens when deer are fighting or squirrels are storing food for the winter.

These are the reasons I believe in the outdoors. Look it’s not just because I’m a hunter. It’s about getting out of the city and enjoying what our world use to be like.
