I believe that you only live once and that it is up to you to make your own life great. I might still be young, but I have seen too many people sitting around waiting for their lives to change. You have the ability to have a great day, a lazy day, or even a bad day. I’m not saying you made your dog die, leading to a bad day; I’m saying your attitude plays a big role in life. Every morning I wake up, wanting to bypass day and go back to sleep, but instead of zoning out all day, I wake myself up and tell myself today is going to be a great day, and I’m going to make it one. A lot of people get up, but never really wake up. They all tend to just have average days and nothing exciting happens. So they wake up the same way the next day and every day becomes exactly the same.

I know that there are times it feels like the world is out to get you and nothing is going right. Trust me; I know. In one day, I lost my job, found out I didn’t get a $25,000 scholarship, and my mom was in the hospital. I did not let myself get caught up in the past and woke up the next day realizing it was a new start. You just need to make your life the way you want it. Never regret anything you have done because at the time, it was the choice you made.

I feel that if you live life to the fullest, go out and have a blast, and don’t try to impress other people, you will live a fun and exciting life. Live life on the edge; stare in the eyes of death, and just for the hell of it, spit in his face. Don’t keep asking yourself “What if…” instead change it to “Remember when I…” Experience life from adrenaline rush to adrenaline rush, and when it’s all said and done you will be saying with a smile, “Wow that was one hell of a ride.”
