I believe that the American Dream defined is having a shot to be what you want to be in life and accomplish your goals. Everyone in the world should at least get a good shot to go for their dream. However, everyone is brought up in a different lifestyle which means different situations for that person. I think that for a lot of people, “making” it in life is a lot harder. Everyone has a different outcome in their life. Its their choice what path they take along the journey. The biggest inspiration for me to try and be successful is when my friends and I go skating in Portland. On almost every other street there are bums just sleeping or passed out on the sidewalk. This motivates me to want to make it in life. In my own personal opinion, to be successful, all you have to do is be happy and try to overcome the various obstacles that are thrown at you. All you have to do is try and keep trying and you might just reach what you’ve been working towards your entire life.

That is my dream defined.
