It was three years ago. I was ten. My uncle Cameron, brother Seth, Mrs Houg’s Son, and my grandma were all in the car. I was going to Wisconsin Dells. It would be a major change of my life. It made me think about life, and that we should live it to the fullest, and have fun with life.

This is the way it goes, we were 35 minutes away. We stopped to save a turtle and I still think if we didn’t, I would not have a scar. We turned left and there was a white car going straight they had a stop sign. The driver was on the phone. Her car looked brand new, like a day or two old. She ran the light. When we where turning my uncle Cameron wanted me to get some watermelon It was cut up. That is my favorite, but that is not part of my story. So, I got it and her car ran the light. When I sat down and put my belt on, or I thought I did, but I don’t remember much about it. I remember the belt hit me in my face. It left a red mark. I remember my grandma yelling hold on. Then there was watermelon on the floor and I remember the white car was right under me.

The next thing I remember is my brother and my uncle pulling me out of the window. In the crash I hit the window. I had gone through, not all the way, but to my waste. The lady that hit us started to cry and ran into the ditch she thought I was dead. Thank goodness there was a lady walking with her daughter and she was a doctor.

She said, is everyone okay?

Then my grandma turned around and said is every one okay I said I am fine then they all started screaming.

I said what what are you screaming for? Then I looked at my uncle and there was blood on him I said Cameron is bleeding. Then he said no I am not you are! I looked at my arms and lags and there was nothing i mean no cuts but there was blood. then my grandma started yelling call 9-1-1. when the lady came to the door it was stuck. My door was stuck. So I remember going to the passenger side. Then I started screaming where is my brother and they looked every where my grandma would not leave my side I was scared. They kept on saying how many fingers do I have, what is my name, how old am I. Then I remember getting cared on this orange cart hey sad 1-2-3 lift then I said I want my brother to come with me! they said he will rid with your uncle in the cop car. I said why is my brother in a cop car turns out he was wondering around. O did I mention we were on the highway.

Then we went to the hospital. I had to get thirty stitches. My grandma had whiplash. My brother got a cut and my uncle got a bruised bone.

Then my grandma sued the lady and I got 50,000. My brother got 4,000 but my mom took it and paid off bills. My uncle went back the next day so the got nothing. But I don’t think you needed to know that.

To this day I have a scare on my head. The doctor said if it was any lower I would have lost my eye!!!!! Then do you know she gave my free ice cream. But i did not have the appetite to eat food. I was trying to get over what had happened. then a few days latter I got a letter in the mail with no return address i opened it up and it was a stuffed animal cat. I knew it was from the doctor that saved my live. I hope you will live every day like its your last just like me.
