I believe that although I am a lesbian, God still loves me. I thought for a long time that this was not possible and many churches would reinforce this belief. Until I started going to the church I am at now. The one that accepts me whether I am gay or straight. I believe that God loves me as I am. That He made me the way I am and don’t feel as though I need to change anything about myself although there are thousands who think I do. Being a lesbian has never been a choice for me. It’s simply who I am and I believe that God includes me in His love. Being a lesbian or gay man doesn’t mean that you have to give up on religion. I believe there are a lot of people out there who think this is true. But I do believe that God loves me just the way I am.
