Life’s a musical Sing out loud!
I believe life is a musical. Everyone has ups and downs in life, and everyday brings new challenges. It can go from bad to worse all in one day, or the exact opposite can happen. For example, today is one of the worst days ever, I locked my keys in my car while it was running and couldn’t find my spare. Then, I was late to school and failed my Pre Calculus test. However, I am hopeful that things will turn around by the end of the day. Maybe at track practice I will have a really good practice. Or when I get home, my mom will have made a vanilla cake, I will be able to shove the whole thing in my mouth, and it will taste so good that I will forget the events that happened to me earlier on. I am hopeful because I know that was only the introduction to my day. Just like a play has an introduction. Who knows how the rest of the musical is going to go. Maybe it will be a thrilling day with loud drums and shrieking electric guitars. Or maybe it will be happy with flutes and flowers. But maybe, hopefully not, it will be sad with mournful music as a piano is playing softly in the background.
Just as a musical has twists and turns, so does life. Think of how a play moves along: It generally starts out slower, and then the plot rises and rises until it reaches a climax and ends with a bang! The ending could either be happy or sad. Either way, just like life, I won’t know how things are going to turn out until they happen. I just have to take things as they come. In my opinion, the best musicals are the ones that have a happy ending and are exciting through out. Just like the best days are in life exciting and happy. It just feels like everything is going my way and nothing could go wrong! But just as with the good, the bad is always lurking near by to start the next musical in my life with lying, cheating, heartbreaking, sadness. No one knows how things are going to play out, or how this play, called life, is going to end. So just sit back relax and enjoy the show.
Just like the plot of a musical twist and turns, so does my life. Just like there are stages in a musical. There are stages in my life. I am always cautious because when I reach the climax I know things are going to fall. When I’m at a low point in life, I know that things will turn around just like a musical. So my best advice to you is just take things as they come, and enjoy your musical.
