I believe in another World Series win for the Chicago White Sox baseball team in the upcoming seasons.
I have been going to the White Sox games ever since it was called Comiskey Park back in fifth grade. Since that day, I have fallen in love with just going to the games, the team, and of course the food. Every time I go I get a brat and curly fries, and some popcorn mix of caramel, cheese, and butter. The past two years my parents have bought season tickets near the third baseman Joe Crede. Each year our seats advance closer to the field and closer to the White Sox dugout. My friends and I always enjoy the games on the weekends and over the summer. I know all of the players, first and last name, and all of their positions too.
Even though I adore each of the players and have so many favorites. Two of my top favorites are Alexi Ramirez and Joe Crede. Ramirez had an amazing season last year and contributed to the team a great deal. He really fulfilled his position completely. As for Joe Crede, his previous season was not his best…. although, I know if he stays with the Sox next year he will produce. The last season was difficult for him because he injured his back. So, I still have faith in him and I know he will get back to the amazing player he is. I just can hardly wait for the new 2009 season to begin!
The Chicago White Sox are the one team that I follow and keep up with throughout the entire season. I enjoy the baseball games tremendously. Some fans give up on the teams they like and lose faith. Although, the Chicago White Sox are a team that I believe in one hundred percent, and always will. If they make the right choices on who to keep and who to let go on the team, this year could be very successful. I look forward to this season, and I will stick by our theme song, “Don’t Stop Believin”.
