Looking back on my life, I disregarded most of the things that I accomplished in my lifetime and I just wanted to acknowledge how my life impacted the people that I find to be dear to me. Life, a present that gives a person a chance to change someone or something, such a precious gift that sometimes I ignore the best ethics of life.
I see life as a delicate rose, yearning to bloom and to stand apart from the other common roses blooming in the garden; the only thing stopping it from blooming into a one-of-a-kind rose comes in all shapes and sizes called humans. I myself struggle to find my own fertilizer that will help me become a person that will benefit the world and everyone who inhabits it. I see many roses ranging from the color white, red, yellow to marble blue, soft pink and exotic green, but I seem to not find any interest in the variety of colors. I just want to catch the eye of people so that I may impact them in a way that will benefit them and make me a better person. Lately, I connected with my uncle as a nephew and as a helping. Sometimes I just associated my help with the kindness that came in a package with playing the part of a nephew. My intention to lend a helping hand impacted my uncle in a way that normal volunteers can’t accomplish. I didn’t know he sincerely appreciates my help, causing him to look back upon his childhood. Since my uncle’s petals withered away, it changed his perception on how the little things you receive in life makes all the difference of changing a person’s outlook on life. I believe I found my fertilizer in this closet full of unique fertilizers. Hopefully one day people may understand that it’s not the color that you reflect that counts, it’s the vibe that you display in your lifetime that counts.
Life conveys the message that you want to put out, every life has its own unique scent that will affect one or maybe even a thousand lives. So don’t worry what colored rose you may resemble, just remember there will always be someone looking for your scent in life.
