I believe in heart

This I Believe

Its not always about who is bigger it’s about who has the most heart to

Stand strong. With out a heart you would not live .It takes a lot of heart

And courage to do a lot of things .This I believe.

He stood there hands clinched veins popping out of his neck, screaming

You could not even hear your self think. The coach was staring to panic

He said “What are you scared because they are bigger”.

The game started all of there players looked to be grown .They had facial

Hair it looked very full and ruff. All of them were much taller then the

players on my team who looked like midgets to them as giants.

The ball was kicked of to use and the returner was fumbling with the

Ball .When he got hold of the ball he was running slowly. Tip toeing,

Dragging his feet and hear he goes he got smacked. The hit was so hard

It sounded like a car crash, a head on collision .When we had come out

Running the we could not move all of the running back were scared to run it

And they just keep falling down to the ground.

We had to punt the ball .When the team had got the punt everybody on

My team except a couple of people was afraid to tackle them. The first

Play there quarterback sprung back cocked his arm and threw a cannon

Down field for a touchdown. We got the ball back and we tried to throw the

Ball no one blocked the quarterback zipped the ball down field they

Intercepted the ball for a touchdown. When we got the ball again I declared

That we run the clock out.

It went in to half time the coach strolled in to the locker room.

He started yelling at everyone “Yall acting like you are scared there’s nothing

to be afraid of .They are just bigger not stronger. It does not take who is

bigger its about who has the most heart”. He had mentioned that are team has

more heart and talent then the other team and are more strong .

Everyone bolted out of the locker room on to the field. All of the red flame

Had came out of are eyes then are eye lit with pride. The other team got the

Ball at half he caught the kickoff and ran down the side line he got tackled

out of bounds. They had put there big running back in he got the ball up

the middle, I was playing inside linebacker I was looking in the runners eyes

he was pointing to the right so that’s were I went .The runner and I meet

right in the whole he stood tall in the whole and I was going low

when I smack him the ball flew in the air .The safety was coming directly

behind me and caught the ball out of the air and ran down the field for a 50

yard touchdown and we kicked the extra point .The score was 14-8 in the

fourth quarter with 3min to go . The other team had the ball they were trying

to run the clock out but they were not getting no yards when they ran the

ball. They had to punt the ball to use, the returner got the ball and gained

about 11 yards. The offense got on the field the clock read 2min 10sec .

I got in the back field the quarterback ran a 35 power that was coming to me.

We had two time outs and we had to score to win. When I got in the back

Field all I was thinking was hold the ball and touchdown I dug my foot good

In the dirt and got a grip. I got the ball the whole was open all I seen was

open field I darted threw the whole and fled down field I gained about 25

yards and someone shoe string tackled me. The clock was still running at

1min 5 sec so we called a time out we called the same play but the same

thing didn’t happen I only gain 12 yards we called another time out that was

the last one . The coach called a fake 39 halfback pass when the coach said

that I got nerves because I had to throw the ball.

We came out on the field we ran it from the line he said go I got the pitch I

Fumbled with it then I got a hold to it I scanned the field staggered left then

Right and threw it down field to the wide open quarterback for a touchdown

The ref said ball game. Coach said “See it’s about the most heart not whose

Bigger.
