“A friend is a friend no matter how big or how small.” We all need that one person that one person that we can talk to. This says that a true friend could be anyone or anything. It could be your parent, sibling, pet, neighbor, etc. A friend is someone that you can count on and go to.
I have lived in a total of three states in my life. This being said, I have had my share of making friends. Once I finally made real friends, we moved again. It is hard but it has been a wonderful learning experience for me. I always thought that a true friend had to be just like in the movies. Where you have grown up together and know everything about each other. I felt that I didn’t have that one good friend. The thing is though, that one true friend, “Best Friend,” has always been there. That person is my mom. I am very lucky to have the mom that I have.
You shouldn’t have just one friend. You need to have others. They many not be that number one person that you go to, but they will be there for you and listen to you. I have made wonderful friends and without them, things would be very hard in my life.
“Friendship is a light in the darkness.” You always know they are going to be there. They might be hidden behind the clouds of a disagreement, confusing, etc., but they are still there. Life is not enjoyable without a friend. It might seem fine then, but once you experience a true friend there is no going back. They are there behind the clouds, you just need to go and find them. In your lives journey you will find how you want your friends to act. On your way you will find more friends. For me, a true friend is someone that is honest, caring, and there for me. Most importantly they make me feel wonderful. I enjoy being around my friends because they have these characteristics.
“Friendship is the Gold Thread that Ties Hearts Together.” We all need at least one true friend, no matter the size, someone that can light up the dark. I have found mine and am open for more. This I Believe.
