I believe that just because I’m a 14 year old doesn’t mean I shouldn’t get respect. My mom is always going on about how if I want respect I have to act responsible and mature. She doesn’t always practice what she preaches. I will admit that I am somtimes disrespectful but I feel why should I have to respect you when you don’t respect me or treat me right. I’m sure alot of kids feel this way, I mean I don’t know how many times I’ve heard my mom say that if I repect her then I’ll get respect but she doesn’t always follow through. I get tired of always having to be the bigger person at home.So next time somone tells you to respect them 1st, suggest you both respect eachother. I mean what’s wrong with that?
