Self-Reliance

I think that every person on this blue earth has the right to a better life. The only way you can reach that is if you work hard to achieve that goal. But it will not just leap into your lap or because you think it is owed to you. You can only depend on yourself when it all comes down; All I have in this world is self-reliance.

You can only depend on yourself when it all comes down to it. If you slack off you are only hurting yourself when it all comes to the light. One thing that bothers me is to hear someone blame everyone but themselves when it all falls down. I once was one of these people, but I wasn’t happy were I was headed. I soon turned it around and grew out of these childish ways.

My freshman year wasn’t a normal one I started out playing varsity basketball. This only meant that I had a lot of responsibility at a young age. To keep up with what was going on the court and off. I had to maintain a certain GPA to remain were I was, at that age all the excitement can go to your head. I wasn’t so into that was going on in my Spanish core class. There was a certain level of attention that you must dedicate to the class. At the time there were rallies of final test that you were to prepare for. I failed the test that I really needed and had to sit out four games until the next grades were into effect. I missed out on games that could have been beneficial to me.

I think that it is possible for a person to do anything you desire in your life. Never let anyone tell you are not capable of achieving something because they are wrong. When I hear my peers complaining that a teacher has failed them. It is your responsibility that you failed that class. You were not committed to your school work and it showed. Life is only what you choose to make of it.

It is all about choices, life is completely based on the decisions you make. You can only depend on yourself believe that you and only you decide which road you go in life.
