I believe there is a pot of gold under the rainbow, figuratively speaking. Somewhere under the rainbow is a pot full of joy and happiness. Say that the rainbow is hope, and the pot of gold is succeeding in something you strive for. You have to have hope to succeed in anything. You have to follow your hopes and dreams to get to your destination. The “pot of gold” is your destination. Now do you see? So ask yourself the question, do you have a pot of gold? If you don’t then you’re still following a rainbow that might take you to your destination. Everyone has a goal in life, at least I hope they do, which if you are dreaming of succeeding then you have to know what you need to do to succeed. In order to find your pot of gold you have to want to find it.
I know when I was little, I was watching the x games, and I said, “I want to be good on a board”. Maybe not literally, but I wanted to skateboard. We didn’t live around mountains, so I couldn’t snowboard. We didn’t live around water, so I couldn’t wakeboard every day. I started skating. Skating was my pot of gold. I guess you pot of gold should make you happy too. At least for a part of your life you should be happy. I know that skating was my pot of gold, that I have already found, and I believe it has made me a better person.
I believe that there can be many pots of gold that you have to seek out throughout your life. My next pot of gold is right under my nose, but I don’t exactly know what it is yet. I think I’m getting close, but not close enough. I believe my new pot of gold is something to do with maybe a girl, or a woman. Maybe money, I don’t know what it is, but I will soon retrieve it. Maybe succeeding in school is my pot of gold. I do know that when I find whatever it is that I am looking for I will be very happy.
I want numerous pots of gold. In all reality though, I really don’t need them. I believe that I should be happy no matter what even if I have not found my pots of gold. I am going to try to strive to be happy regardless of my situation in life. That’s what I believe everyone should do. I love my life, and I cherish it greatly, with or without my pots of gold.
