I chose to write about the way i feel about making fun of others. This has always been a problem at any school or even outside of the classroom. Many people are made fun of and tormented everyday for being different or having a disability that they cannot help. When really what does making fun of someone do? The answer is nothing; there is no gain that comes from putting someone else down.

A person cant judge someone for being different if they havent talked even talked to them and are able to see what that person is all about. A person who is different might be one of the most interesting people you could ever meet. if only you gave that person the time of day to talk to them, and get to know them in a deeper way. The term “never judge a book by its cover” is a good quote when talking about this.

Making fun of others, whether it be about their style, ethnicity,m or anything that a person can come up with is just wrong. Ill admit that i have made fun of people before, but after thinking about it, it just made me guilt and full of regret. I realized that it didnt make me feel good at all; i didnt even know why i did it. I have also been made fun of before in grade school about my height because i was really short, and it hurt getting mde fun of when i was younger.

Thats why i always think of treating others how you would like to be treated because if you treat people nicely and with respect then they should do the same to you. Sometimes this dosent always happen and you make an effort to be nice to someone and they dont do the same. This is when you just need to let it roll off your back. It might be hard but in time yuou wont regret it. Think how that person feels who is always the but of the joke; it cant make that person feel very good.

Making an effort to meet different people could end up being a good thing in the long run. I also thought that why not meet as many people as you can, its llife; a person only lives once so you might as well see what types of people are out there, all around you.

i think that people that do make fun of others are only trying to cover up the insecurities that they have about themselves; or are scared to be seen with someone who is different, because they might not want to be judged. But you cant worry about what other people think about you because if you let that happen you are letting other people control you entire life for you.
