I believe everyone should be 100% involved, Whether it be in a game, work, or anything. People shouldn’t just float around absent-mindedly through school or work, but involve themselves in it so they enjoy it more. If it’s a group activity everyone will benefit and the task will be finished faster and to a higher quality. If you do something 100% I believe we can all lead successful enjoying lives.

I remember my first year in middle school I didn’t have any of my friends from my old school in any of my classes, and I wasn’t in any sports or activities. The first few weeks, of school began, and I quickly sank into a boring routine of counting down the minutes when each class was over, instead of focusing on learning, involving myself, and making new friends.

One day while staring at the TV screen reading the announcements at school I saw that it wasn’t too late to sign up for football, and the school web team was starting soon. My dad had been encouraging me to go out for football, and I’ve always been interested in technology and learning new stuff on computers. I joined football and web team. Joining the football team, I met lots of new people and made friends that have lasted until this day. Joining web team I met a lot of the teachers and the other students in web team and I learned many new things on the computer. I enjoyed school more and was generally a more happy person.

People who just float through life usually don’t have goals and may also have low self -esteem. I used to be one of these people. When we get involved in something we like we will first off make new friends, have an increased self esteem, and better their skills in whatever they are doing. In a school as big as the one I attend, it is sad to see many people looking hopeless and dreading their next class as they wander the halls. I believe if people get involved they will enjoy life more.
