I Believe In FAmily

One day over Christmas break, I was with all my family, and I was having so much fun just being with all of them. Just hearing all the fun stories about what happened to my out-of-state brothers just made me so thankful for the place I have in our family. Out of eight kids, I am the seventh. I have six brothers and one older sister. I believe in families that provide good times, support, and comfort.

I believe in good times with family. Having a huge family is the greatest thing in the world to me. I love every single aspect about my family. Having a family, no matter how big or small, will provide good times that will be remembered forever. For instance, when my older brother Danny was a senior in high school, he would take naps with me after school when I was an infant. Now I know that I couldn’t remember those times, but I have been told stories about them. It is like I practically remember when Danny would take a nap with me. Also, my older brothers always come home sometime during the year and take us out to see a popular movie. We have seen so many movies together, all ten of us. We all have had so many good times.

Also, a supportive family is necessary. I remember when my sister had a huge crisis that she had to deal with, and she was not feeling well at all. When my brothers in Missouri heard about it, they came home that Friday and spent the weekend with her and us. They came home to support her and had to miss a day of their college class to do so. They came and provided laughs and support for her and the whole family. That meant so much for them to come all the way to be with my sister and all of us.

Love from families makes everything in a family worth while. I have an enormous family that gives so much love, but there could be a smaller family that could give just as much love that my family does. If a family does not show love to one another, than that family will fail. It will not produce good times or support. Love is so essential that it is like food and water to people. If there is no love in families, than the family is not a real family. Every family needs love, because it’s the key to make a family succeed.

All in all, I believe in a family that provides good times, support, and love. Without these characteristics of a family, then the family will not share all the good things that make up a family.
