This I Believe

“This I Believe”

Throughout the time of my teenage years, I have questioned more things than I ever have throughout my young life. With the world still looking the same with wars, starvation, poverty, and the natural cruelty of humanity, I simply just wonder what is wrong with our own human species. Trying to search for the answers that are sometimes so obvious, just do not compare with the difficulty of actually executing the process of solving the problem. I have only come up with one way of looking at it in order to solve our major issues.

When you think of people in the world who just do not seem to have any real respect for humanity or any other type of life in this world, I would guess that your average person would probably look down in a negative way. For example, many of us Americans probably put down other religions, cultures, nationalities, and ect. Other cultures and countries around the world are guilty of the same things as well. We all often humiliate one another in some type of form and do things that just do not make a lot of sense.

In stating all the bad things that people and humans, I still believe that there is goodness in every single person that walks this earth. When you put yourself in the shoes of a person such as a terrorist or whatever, you can maybe start to see that these people are just trying to serve there religion and believes. These people actually think that they are doing a service and good deed by harming another culture or society. I believe that people are simply victims of the natural disaster of human greed and selfishness.

The only solution that seems to make since is to live a life as a caring person and not to judge anyone for any reason. To treat someone just as you would your best friend. I believe that setting an example for other people around you is the best way to help solve some of the problems that our world has. Just imagine a world where all citizens simply respected and treated everyone in the same good manner that we all have.
