This I Believe

I believe that solders in Iraq and Afghanistan should get a heroes parade through New York City every time they come home. I believe that they disserve a tick-or-tape parade just like the old days when men and women came home. I believe solders should get front row seats to sporting and movie theaters for free because they have done the most to preserve my freedoms for ever. I think we should raise there salary and help the families of whom have lost there fathers, mothers, and sons or daughters.

I believe veterans of previous wars and those who have come back from these wars wounded should get benefits and applauded every time they go in a public place. I believe those who have stories should tell and not be scolded for what they’ve done to the enemy. Veterans of foreign war should give there stories so that children in the future can read them and listen to how we as a nation came through the hard times. Also to tell of times when we as a people different race and back ground joined together to fight a conmen cause against oppression, dictatorship, and evils of our world.

I believe that those who were wrong and treated like dirt after Vietnam should be given the proper apology. I also believe that we should learn about there hardship and there glory in battle. I believe that Vietnam vets should be able to voice there feeling about coming home to what it was like in that jungle.

I believe the sons and daughters who have lost there fathers or mothers in foreign wars should have at least 25% to 50% of there collage payed for. I believe that wives who have last there husbands in war and have young kids should get free funeral services. I believe that phone companies should give families how have family members in Iraq or Afghanistan should get free minutes when talking to them. Also computer companies should do same thing with video technology. I believe families should get free heath care and life insurance so that there kids can make it.
