“This I believe”

Religion is an important thing in my life. I believe that there is, “no god but Allah and Mohammad is his last messenger”. This is just my belief of god there are two other main faiths who believe in the one god and those faiths are Christianity, and Judaism. Even though we have different beliefs on who god is; and, how we get salvation we share similar values. We come from the same line of prophets through, the nations of Abraham the Jews, and the Arabs. We have so many similarities on faith in god but we have few differences the separate us as believers. Over the centuries we have had wars among each other over just simple differences. Millions upon millions of people have died because what? Because you’re a Jew, you’re a Christian; you’re a Moslem so I hate you. You see this all over the world where people are fighting because of simple differences in religion. We might follow different prophets like, the Jews follow the prophet Moses, and the Christians follow Jesus, and the Moslems follow the teachings of the prophet Mohammad. But I believe they all have the same message belief in the one god and to best the best person you can be. We are three faiths who believe in the same god; the god of Abraham. All three of our faiths are trying to get, to where the suffering ends in front the of the most high being judge for our sins. I believe one day that when the worst comes that all three faiths can come together and unite under one banner; Put aside our differences and come in true brotherhood of mankind under the one god. My question is what are we going to say to god about all the fighting and division we put between us as brothers and sisters of the one god? I don’t know about you but I haven’t got an answer; but let me tell you, that how we judge each other god is going to judge us far worse. We say the devil is our enemy which is true; but in the end we have a free choice to love one another, respect one another as human beings. We can’t blame the devil for all bad things; we have to take the responsibility of our actions towards each other, and learn how to live in harmony as human beings. So my belief is Jews, Christians, and Muslims, can put aside differences and live in harmony without fighting about beliefs about what god wants etc…, because in my opinion he does what he wants and no one on this earth knows what he’s thinking. So we should stop arguing on whose wrong or right and try to be the best people we can. On the “Day of Judgment”, you are only accountable for yourself and no one else’s sins. So instead of looking at somebody else’s flaws we should look at our own and better ourselves as people. So one day I hope we all open our eye’s love each other as brothers and sisters, salaam alayikum(peace be upon you) all.
