The Power of Strength

Every person has an extreme downfall in his or her life and it’s up to you how to interpret it. I once read in a memorable book, “Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is it’s current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight then it is swept by and another takes it’s place, and this too will be swept away.” This I believe in the power of strength. When all else fails find the strength within yourself to rise above all.

When I was about ten years old my parents sat my brother and I down for a “talk.” This talk was unlike no other. I was informed this day about my parent’s formal divorce. This could have been one of the most difficult times in my life; it was mentally and physically agonizing. Most divorces are not too pleasant. This was my first hard blow to the reality of life. Usually most don’t take these sorts of struggles to heart. I on the other hand began to accept the fact that I was different form the others. I also was put into counseling in the yearly grade of second. This situation gave me the light to remember this force in myself to let go.

I know everyone has gone through tough times whether it has been with family, friends, school, work, or with relationships. I took this experience to the greatest height. When all light is dim tunnel yourself into the bright future. Rough patches will always smooth out. This I believe in the power of strength. I’m sure most people have heard of “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.” This I believe. We might think were weak at points, but the real fact is we will be strong after time.

Strength I think might be the only thing that gradually comes to you in life. It’s not easy finding strength within you. If you have ever experienced rising above a situation you realize it’s a powerful drug, sometimes not accruable on your own. Grab onto anything that will make you stable. Strength is mastering your own fear. Strength is intelligence. Most of all strength is courage.

This I believe in the power of strength. This little substance has to power to work magic. It has to power to find your true self. It might take some longer then others to find strength. All that matters is when you think all else has failed find your inner strength. Just remember we will always rise after falling. Only the strong survive, that is where greatness lies.
