There are many people in this world that have changed the world in many ways. Those people who become famous for fighting for civil rights or trying to end world hunger. However, I believe that everybody has done something good in his or her life at least once. No matter how small of a gesture he or she did something to make someone else happy.

When I was ten years old, I met a woman who tried her hardest to make someone’s day special. She would even make time just to call someone to see how he or she is doing and what was new in their life. She even has a calendar made up of things she wants to do for people everyday of the month. Seeing this woman do all of these things just see other people smile made me smile. What she had done for people just amazed me and made me want to help others too. The feeling you get when you help people is a feeling you can never forget. These actions are not only something she will cherish forever, but the people she helped will also.

I do believe that everybody does something once in his or her life to make someone happy. Some people do not even realize the good that they are doing, but they have done something to make another person happy. Even just to smile and wave at a person someone who looks like they are having a bad day could bring them joy. No one has to discover s cure for cancer or try to make world peace to bring joy into someone’s life. The small things count the most. I think that everyone would be missed if not in this life, everyone is needed by someone. One person caring saves many people. In conclusion, I truly do believe that everyone does good in their life at least once.
