Anything is Possible!

In this world I believe everyone has a dream job or something they would like to do. For this I believe that anything is possible in this world as long as you put your mind to it and I believe that if you put those thoughts to action anything is possible to achieve. There are a couple of experiences I’ve had where this was true.

For instance, in my 8th grade Science class, I had to build this mousetrap car that had to go a certain distance. I wanted mine to be the best and to also to look flashy by giving it a cool paintjob. It took two weeks but I had built a mousetrap car that went quite far at my house, and I gave it a candy apple paint job to distinguish my car from the others. When the big day came of bringing my mousetrap car to school my science class went to the gym and one at a time let it go to see how far the car would travel. My turn finally came, and I let my car go. When I let it go at first my car was going slow; thereafter, it was moving perfectly its distance was huge my car went from one side of the gym to the other without stopping. Then, I went to get my car and turned it around, and again it went to the other side of the gym without stopping. After I did my run my teacher was amazed so instead of getting one hundred out of one hundred points she gave me two hundred points for breaking the record of the school and that I gave my car a paint job. Then it hit me since I kept my mentality that I would be the best and put that into action I started to realize that anything was possible.

It was my first semester at Diablo Valley College and I was taking an English reading class; finals were soon and I had a B borderline C in the class and my goal was to get an A. Since there was no more tests or graded assignments the only option I had was to get a good grade on the final. Well while studying for the final I found myself physically sick and tired. However, I still had one goal drilled in my head that I would get an A on this exam. Sure enough three weeks after I had taken the exam, I received my grade and I was shocked it was the first time in my life where I earned an A on a final exam. In the past, whatever my grade was is what I would get on the exam.

As you can see I believe that by putting my mind to something I was able to accomplish anything. I believe you can have the same experience as long as you put your mind to it and put those thoughts into action.
