I believe that if something needs to be done, do it yourself. I learned this when I was about ten years old and my sister told me she would feed my fish when I was gone, but apparently she didn’t because when I got home, my fish was dead.
I believe this because sometimes I ask my sister or mom to do something, but they just say they will do it, but they never do it. Another example is one time when I was going to go fishing up north with my friend and my sister told me that she would help me do my work before I left so I would be ready on time, but it ended up I had to do her work because she didn’t feel like it. Also, sometimes my mom wants me to clean the house, but if I don’t do it perfectly, she makes me do it again. I do it just so I don’t get in trouble. She yells at me for not cleaning right, but yet she will not clean herself. anyway. Also, sometimes when I don’t feel like being yelled at for not doing my sister’s work I will do it ahead of time. If I don’t do her work how my mom wants it done she usually blames me for it even though it is not my responsibility to do my sister’s work. I think is my mom wants the house to be so perfectly clean, she should do it herself because nobody else really cares. Another example of me getting something not done how it’s supposed to be is one time when I was helping set up for deer hunting, my dad told me that I should go help him fix his deer stand the day before hunting. I know that that isn’t a good idea, but I did it anyway. The next day when I shot a deer and he didn’t he said that I didn’t do a good job on his stand and I told him he should’ve done it himself, he wasn’t very happy with me, but I knew it was true.
I believe that if you want something done right you should do it yourself.
