“Making Your Dream A Reality”
We all live in a world of confusion. Nobody really knows where to go. Some days you’re flying so high and you think nothing can go wrong, until the rainstorm hits and you’re back on the ground.
I believe that life is like an amusement park. Everyday you’re stepping onto a new ride, that’s waiting to be discovered. You should set a goal to make your ride higher than before. Ride it likes it’s your last, and enjoy it the most you can.
My life is an on going journey. There are so many tracks to take. I never know what’s going to happen in the end.
My soccer coach helped me reach my goals. She helped me break through the pains and become a better player by doing so. This year I made twice as many goals than I did the year before. I believe the phrase “Perfect practice makes perfect.” I believe in setting goals and trying to reach them. I have strived to become a better athlete. My goal is to do the best I can at practice and make an improvement by the end of the season.
I just finished reading a book called Timothy of the Cay. It’s about a young black boy, who was adopted at a young age and never knew his real parents. Timothy lived on one of the main islands that great ships came to port. He wanted to work on a ship someday and then become a captain.
After long hard years of trying to get a job on a ship, he finally got the chance to be a cabin boy. The day that the ship was going to go out to sea, became Timothy’s worst day. As he got to where the ship was docked, it was no longer there.
This crushed Timothy but he never gave up on his dream, he wanted to live it. So, when he got a little older he got another job on a ship. He worked very hard for four years and finally saved up enough money to become a captain of his own ship.
I believe that you can be what ever you want to be. I want to some day get a scholarship into a college; I want to become a great athlete to someday get paid for doing what I love to do. I believe in making your dreams a reality once you set them, and to achieve them the best you can, this I believe.
