This I Believe
This summer I had the opportunity to go to Germany with my family. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been, or seen. Part of the reason why it was so beautiful is because the people respect their country. It was out of the ordinary for you to see someone littering or even see liter anywhere. My family and I stayed in a town named Garmisch- Partenkirchen for a little over a week. One day we had the chance to go walking downtown in that city and see how beautiful it was. I’ll bet I didn’t see one piece of liter the whole time. None of that filth that fills the streets in the U.S. no gum on the ground or anything it was amazing. It’s a sight worth seeing unlike a city in America where you find trash everywhere.
I believe that we should all do our part in the world. Everyone can be a better person there isn’t a person out there who is perfect. Next time you have a piece of trash in your hand you should find a garbage can and throw it away, or if you see a piece of trash on the ground pick it up and throw it away. Next time you have the chance to do something that helps the world, even as small as throwing away a piece of trash, make sure you act upon it and do your part in this world.
I wish America could be like other countries such as Germany in some ways; the main reason why people come to America these days are probably because of the American dream, and to live a better life. What if people vacationed in America for the beauty of it, instead of always immigrating here for a new life. I mean we live in America people, the best country in the world. The least you can do is respect our country by showing you care for it.
