This I Believe

True Beauty is Accomplishment

I believe that people will not give up until they get what they want. They can accomplish anything their heart desires, but only on one condition. That condition is they need to want it, badly. They need to set their mind to it and they need to set their goals high enough to get it. Whether its getting a better pay or getting better at a sport, people can accomplish everything.

I once knew a boy in the 4th grade. He was smarter than everyone in the class, probably in the whole grade. He asked if he could be moved up two grades, but only for a week. His wish was granted by the principal, so the next day he was placed two grades up. He went through one class knowing everything the teacher was talking about. However, when the week was over, he was moved up. When he was back in his original grade, he was a lot smarter than he was before. So he asked the principal if he could move up one grade permanently. Again, he was moved up, but only because he set his goals high enough to learn the material that his new class had already learned. Once he was caught up on everything, he was the smartest kid in his new grade.

I believe that no matter what, if people want something, they can get it. But only if they truly want it and set their goals high enough to get it. This I believe.
