There is an isolation that follows stardom. A star is set apart to glow, to be a source of light to guide others. You don’t see a star leaving it’s position to go an visit a neighbor star.

There is also a formula that addiction follows. Isolation + Shame + addicition and ensuing death.

It’s ironic that young star Lindsay Lohan was captured trying to connect with the mother of her former friend, seemingly desperate to connect like a crazed toddler lost in a mall.

There is also a fomula for recovery. The first component of it is relationship. Relationship + talent = growth, life free from addiction.
