Friendship is a promise, a promise to help one another and to love one another, and usually an easy one to keep at that, well at least for me. Lately I have seen this promise change and not in a good way. It has gone down hill and is most likely not coming back up to the ranking of best friend in the near future.

Maybe the promise of helping has faded and weakened the friendship solely. The person has been ditching me lately for another crowd of people who seem to be “cooler”, but I believe being cool is not up to a group of people, rejecting who you think will make you cool, that you are comfortable being cool around your friends.

I believe this promise is broken.
