No Regrets
As a child growing up, I remember my parents constantly telling me, “Live your life without regrets.” My parents lived their lives to the fullest with no regrets. They took risks not other parents would take. They went the extra mile to make sure my siblings and I lived purposeful lives. My parents never received college education. Therefore, they did their best to make sure we received the education we deserved.
I have been extremely fortunate to have such supportive parents that allow me to live my life the way I do. They support me one hundred percent with everything I do, even if they do not agree with it themselves. They watched me anxiously as I rode a motorcycle, snowboarded down the mountain, and jumped off a cliff into a river. My parents were excited when I decided to travel throughout Europe for three weeks, even though it cost them thousands of dollars. I have been taught to take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way. I would not want to look back at my past and wonder what could have happened if I had done something different. For that reason, I like to think about the situation I am in and whether or not it is beneficial for me. That way, I can live with no regrets.
I believe in living my life one day at a time and not worrying too much about the future. I also try to have as much fun as possible. Since there are only a few days left in my high school career and I will be attending college next year, I plan on doing things this summer that I would not be able to do if I was older. This I believe: “Live your life to the fullest without regrets.”
