I believe that our universe is all the more miraculous if it happened rather than if it was created. I believe that occurring or happening is the most powerful force in the universe – just happening, without being put into motion at some point in time by a creative spirit. To look at a raindrop with a whole landscape reflected in it, to read the latest brain research, to see the color of my puppy’s golden fur, to hear a radio program from far away, to have been born and to have consciousness – the miracles of just happening are endless. I believe that being a part of and being able to appreciate the miraculous happenings of the universe are awe-inspiring honors.

This I believe and cherish.
