I Believe in Friendship

I believe in friendship meaning a person that I can rely on, tell my problems to knowing they are they’re to listen and tell me their opinion as well. The world is full of people who are all to their selves, I was walking through a local department store the other day and the people I passed just looked either at their belongings or at the ground so I decided to try something, I smiled at each person I passed and was shocked to see their reactions. People just looked at me like why is she so happy? But smiled back and I could tell they felt better. In my opinion everyone needs a friend and to smile at least once a day. I know I have a friend when I call them in my time of need and they stop what they are doing not asking what’s in it for me? Every day on my way to school I see people either homeless or driving in their car looking like that don’t have a friend in the world, but if everyone took the time out of their day to just say hey or smiles at someone I think the world would be a little more friendly. Friendship is a state of feeling, to know that you have someone who is so called “your right-hand man,” and who will stick of for you and will help get through the trials and tribulations of life. Life is a game which you must either get knocked down and get up again or just stay down meaning that friends are their to have an ear to listen with, a shoulder to lean on and are willing to lend a helping hand when life gets that out of hand. True friends are like flowers there are an abundance yet you have to pick the right ones and so on in life you will find out which are true and which aren’t. Friendship is a very special thing, you may have grown up with your friend or you may have just met them, in all it is something that no one else can take away. A friend is great to have whether you are doing a project in school together or just hanging out at the mall shopping for clothes and asking what your friend’s opinion is and caring about it. Friends are their to listen when your heart just got broke by your first crush or talking about someone you think is attractive. It’s all exciting when you know you share every bit of your feelings with him/her. Friendship is a ladder in which it can grow and last forever or can decrease due to those “fake” friends who lie or are jealous of you. True friends are something everyone should have in life because life is hard and when you need someone to back you up that is what they are their for you. They can tell you the truth about things knowing it could hurt your feelings but knowing you need to know, its about being honest and true. Friendship is a very special thing that no one should take for granted.
