I believe Good things come in Time…

You came into my life for some reason. We both honestly don’t know why. Was it to be friends or more than that? Or was it meant to be nothing at all? For some reason we both liked each other more than we thought we would. It was all too weird for us to understand. We just took it how it was, and let out lives do the talking.

We built some kind of awkward relationship that neither of us could describe. It was just there happening. I know that it was hard for us to accept, but that didn’t stop you from liking me. Yes, things kept us apart. Our friends, sports, and jealously towards each other. But if we knew anything about True Love, then we would have ignored those things and tried to make things work.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I was never “In Love” with you. But I think we both can say that’s where it would have eventually led us too. Like you use to always tell me, “good things come in time.”

When I started to believe that, you tore it apart and eventually forgot it. It’s hard for me to just let go and act as if you never existed. Trust. You’ll always ponder in the back of my mind. Maybe one time we’ll meet again and maybe that saying, “Good things come in Time” will become a true statement.
