I often wonder, how life would be without a second chance. No three strikes in baseball,and no fourth down in football. I believe that my fellow Americans would really become bored. Especially on Sundays when we welcome John Madden and Al Micheals into our homes.The fall would be a lot less fun without the feuding around who should be Mr. October. The 5.3 million Americans who can’t vote because of one felony strike, must be very perplexed, as the electorate shrinks and the election results really do not reflect the will or need of the population, one strike and your’re out. I believe that it is severely unamerican that in a country committed to the ideal of democracy millions are disenfranchised because of one wrong swing of the bat.
