I believe that schools should not teach us something that we will never use, because unless your going to be in a job that you need to know what 3x=4x+22 we do not need to know how to do that. They should just teach us the basic math skills we need to know in the real world. Because I went to the store a few weeks ago and asked for 1/4 of a pound of ham an the girl working in the deli said “I don’t mean to sound stupid but how much is that?”. So I don’t understand why we should have to learn something that we will never use. Even one of our substitute math teachers last year thought the math we were doing was pointless.
