Paranormal activities is a topic I take very seriously. I’m not going to try and change your perspective, if you don’t believe, but I’ll simply just tell you about my experiences. I’m not going to talk about my first experience but I will tell you about my scariest experience.
My second encounter with the paranormal activity was the scariest experience I have ever had. The event happened when it was in my 7th grade year and my first year at a new school. I was so new to that school that I just hung out with my younger cousin for the first couple of weeks of school. The first day of school I was feeling all kinds of feelings. Nervous, scared, excited you name it I felt it. It was finally time for my second class P.E.. We did laps that day which made me have to cross paths with a berry tree and a Taotaomona tree (An ancient tree where the ghosts of long ago stay in).
Once the day was finally over I went home and took a nice nap. A few hours later, I woke up with a burning sensation right below my breast area. So I decided to take a shower but that just made it even worse for me. I put on all my clothes, went to my mom and showed her the rash. Her facial expression was a kind of puzzled expression that meant she could not explain what the rash was.
The next night, I felt so weak like I couldn’t even do anything and all that I wanted to do was just sleep. My mom’s sister took me to see a suruwana (witch doctor). After I met the lady, I couldn’t recall any memory of that night. Every night after that night the rash got worse and worse to the point where my grandmother brought me to a priest.
The fifth day of having this rash, the priest was finally available to see me. On our way to his house, the car began to smell like burning candle. My sister, grandmother and I were the only ones who could smell that smell. My mom couldn’t. I still couldn’t believe what was happening to me. The priest gave me a prayer to say before I went anywhere. He then measured my hands and said that this ghost that’s following me really likes me and that he might give me a hard time leaving. My mom could barely sleep at night. She told me she always dream that something was pulling me away and into the dark.
The seventh day, the Suruwana that I had met took me to the cemetery and told me to grab dirt from my grandpa’s grave. On the way home, I started feeling sleepy again but they told me to stay awake because they were going to shower me with the dirt from my grandpa’s grave to chase the ghost away. So my aunt gave me the shower, after I sat down with my mom all I heard was screaming but everybody was just sitting down talking.
I looked over and to my mom and asked “did you guys hear that?” They go stopped talking and started listening to me. I said “I hear someone screaming inside this house”. The Suruwana told me to say “thank you”. I asked “why?” and she said that’s your grandpa saving you.
A couple of days later the rash started disappearing and I finally went back to my normal life again. Of course my mom told me not to do certain things anymore or go to certain places anymore but everything else was fine. Before I had this experience I didn’t believe in the paranormal but now I do.
