Have you ever seen an angel? Have you ever been touched by an angel? They are around us every day. You pass them on the street, in the grocery, at school, at work, even in the bathroom. I have been blessed to have seen evidence of angels throughout my life.
Here is an example: I was in Walgreens and an elderly gentleman that had been walking a great distance in the cold didn’t have enough money to pay for his cigarettes. I had just gotten paid that day and I said “Please let me get that for you.” He turned to me with big blue eyes filled with tears and said “Thank you, child.” He picked up his cigarettes and left. It concerned me that it was so cold and he was walking, so I ran after him to give him a ride. He was gone. He had disappeared within about three to four seconds. In my heart, I know he was an angel sent to test me and my faith. God has sent angels to me throughout my life for the purpose of healing, comforting and protecting me. At least four times through my fifties and sixties, my angels were there to help me.
In my fifties, there were many traumatic events of my life. Angels protected me while I was addicted to crack cocaine. I could have been killed if they had not intervened. On the way to get more drugs, I would get the sensation of doom and worry to come upon me. This was one time I listened and we turned around and went home. The next day, where we had been going, three people were shot and one of them died. It could have been five people shot if my angels had not intervened and warned me.
In my fifties, I developed some frightening health issues. I had two lumps in my breast. At the next mammogram, there weren’t any spots. When I had an MRI on my hips, the doctor found a spot on my female organs. My doctor said, “What exactly am I looking for?” When I explained, she told me I was perfectly normal. After a double hip replacement, within twelve days of surgery, I was driving. Within a month, I was taking ballroom dance lessons. I broke up with a man I had a relationship with for twenty-five years. I also started back to college. I prayed about all these things and got answers to my prayers.
It is my conclusion that angels do exist. After all the experiences, I believe that angels are watching over all of us. You may not see them, hear them, you may not even believe in them, but they are there to aide us through life. I am very thankful for all the angels who have protected and aided me in my life.
