I believe that rain is a blessing. I thank God for rain because to me rain is important it fills up rivers and lakes and water travels to my home which I use for drinking and taking warm showers. Rain is also a life lesson to me, because from those small drops flow big rivers like in my life small daily things like raindrops are many blessings that are given to me from above which I sometimes don’t notice.
I remember on a cloudy day I was walking slowly home from school and I was exhausted and I didn’t realize that the sky was cloudy and how cold it really was but I remember looking up later when I stumbled onto my front lawn and seeing clouds and then see them let go the blessings that they held. As I felt the first refreshing raindrops splash on my face and I remembered that life is not always easy and thought of all the things I own and I remembered my grandpa and how wonderful and giving he was and how much more I missed him after he was gone and I wished I could spend more time with him. Right now maybe you’re not joyful maybe you look differently up at that cloudy sky maybe you’re a different person looking up but we all feel the same things blessed maybe you think that no! I’m homeless! I have no family! I have nothing! But you’re wrong you have God maybe you don’t believe in him but he believes in you and that’s all that counts, and it all started from rain, a small blessing. Remember he’s always there for you even in the hardest times even when you think that things couldn’t be worse he’s there waiting for you to come to him.
Later in that year it was pouring like water out of a barrel and I took my moms rain boots and a snow jacket I walked outside, and I remember trying to find the biggest puddles and walk in them I now realize how important that moment was because you have to live life for the small things to be thankful for even what you had in the past you have to remember the past not live it, you have to think about the future but you have to live in the present and remember God made you special and he’s waiting with his arms wide open.
Rain is a blessing and that I believe.
