Being A Leader

Becoming a leader to me is something that can be born or bred. Being a leader does not mean being the smartest or the fastest or the best at something. Being a leader is being someone that people can count on no matter what. Being a leader means putting the best interest of the group above all. Being a leader is communicating. Being a leader is listening. Being a leader is trusting others to get the job done. Being a leader is being you above all. Being a leader shouldn’t be easy. Being a leader shouldn’t be hard. Being a leader should be something that comes as natural as walking. Being a leader means being someone who can be counted on no matter what in any situation. But most important of all, being a leader does not mean being in charge. Being a leader does not mean being in control it means being someone that can be counted on and someone that is always there no matter what the problem or issue is. Being a leader means being you.
