Never Give Up On Your Dreams

The day I cut my finger off would change my life forever. When I cut my finger off I was only one and a half years old. I never thought it would make me so different from so many people, but I was wrong. Since I was only one and a half I have just made it a way of life. I have always thought I might not be able to do anything else like the other kids that I know and will meet in my life time. Not many people notice it that much but when they do they don’t let it go. I have just kind of learned to just walk away and let it roll off my back when people say disrespectful things to me.

When I was a child many people told me to just give up you won’t be able to do what you want when you grow up. I really can’t wait to prove those people wrong when they tell me that I can’t do what I want to do. The message I’m trying to send people in this essay is to never give up on your dreams. It doesn’t matter what people say or do to you, you can do whatever you set your heart out to do, as long as you follow through with it. The amazing thing is, is that in this world you can be anything you want to be. Whether its being a police officer or even a stay at home mom or dad.

One of the best quotes is from a woman named Pearl S. Buck. Her quote was “All things are possible until they are proved impossible and even the impossible may only be so, as of now.” What I believe this quote is saying is that everything is impossible until you try and even the proven impossible things can always be proven possible. If you never give up, there will be so many doors that will open for you in your lifetime. You just have to keep trying.

Another really good quote is by a guy named Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe. His quote was “Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.” I believe what Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe is saying in this quote is that if you don’t believe in yourself or don’t put your heart into it, you won’t be able to accomplish much, but if you believe in yourself and you don’t put yourself down you can do whatever you want to do.

So, I guess what I’m trying to say in this essay is that in your lifetime there will be many people that put you down and try to crush your dreams, but I believe that if you never give up you will be able to accomplish anything you want.
