Leadership is a Way of Life

Any person around the world is member of a group, the child from birth is a member of the family group. Since I was young I was watching and learning patterns and styles of leadership through my membership in several social groups during the different stages of age which formed many of the beliefs about the leader and leadership. The leadership starts in the early age. I remember when i was in primary school, we were five friends one of us was a leader to our group and all of us as members of group like to know his attitudes and ideas about serious issues.

Inside each person there is a great leader, we need just to know that and believe it. This leader grows and develops during the years of age, by education? study, accumulation of experiences? circumstances? and the obstacles. In my opinion, difficult and harsh conditions make the leader more mature and more influential on others. The examples of this are many around the world.

Confidence is one of the most important things that should be available in a leader, not only between leader and his followers, but confidence in himself and in his abilities before the confidence in others. The Self-confidence is the first step in the way of explores the leader within each person of us. One of the main points of self-confidence is belief my personal abilities and knowledge of my strengths, and I should be natural to deal with others.

Because I believe that the leadership is a way of life, I believe that the authentic leadership is the best way and most effective to lead others and influence them. As we know Leadership is not management, so leadership is not only the supervision, direction and control, but it is the reflection of leader’s behavior on followers’ performance. And to be a successful leader I must have a great ability to understand others and their interactions to be able to influence on them. The key to use the authentic leadership is being yourself. The meaning of being yourself is to make all your energy that shows your real capabilities, emotions, interactions, thoughts, and your opinions.
