I believe abortion is murder

I believe abortion should be 100% illeagle. I took a 4 credit New Testament class through Northwestern College, in this class we learned many interesting things. A lady by the name of Barb shared a very disturbing and painful story. Barb works at a hospital as a resource lady, she directs people to the correct specialist if needed. She answered the phone to hear a woman on the other end, she had sounded like she’d been crying. Barb asked her, “what happened?” The lady went on to explain she’d been raped and wanted to find our more information on how to get an abortion. Barb was devastated to say the least; she sat there for a moment and asked God what to say. The question came to Barb and she asked her why she wanted an abortion. The rape victim replied “because I’m angry.” Barb then went on to explain how it isn’t the Childs fault you’re angry. Imagine if you would’ve been aborted. They kept talking for about an hour and the young soon to be mother decided to keep her baby. After I heard this story, I wanted to know more about abortions, how they work, the different kinds, etc. I researched some, and found out the different types. According to “lifeSiteNew.com”, In the beginning of the pregnancy (10 weeks), The baby has its eyelids, and hair. It can turn, jump, do a somersault, squint to close out light, frown, swallow, and move the tongue, this method uses “suction abortion” using a smaller tube that requires little dilation of the cervix. If all of the fetal remains are not removed, infection can happen, and that requires a full dilation of the cervix and scraping out of the womb. Nearing the end of the pregnancy (32-35 weeks) this is called a partial birth abortion. There are five main steps : 1. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby’s legs with forceps. 2. The baby’s leg is pulled out into the birth canal. 3. The abortionist delivers the baby’s entire body except its head. 4. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby’s skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the skull. 5. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child’s brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed. I think this awful way of murdering a baby could be significantly reduced if more people were open to adoption. There is no reason for an innocent baby should be killed because of the mother’s decisions. When I get older, I want to be a foster parent to mothers who are considering abortion. With all of this being said, I hope and pray that young mothers, rape victims, or anyone’s else who is considering the method of abortion as a way out, come to another conclusion.
