Beautiful Within

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart. When you’re walking in the park with your significant other and see an older couple walking in the park holding hands, which is a beautiful site and feeling. I believe life is not just great, but it’s beautiful because of the different colors that surround us every. Keeping an open mind and being creative is beautiful. My heart and my brain are the most beautiful things about me. Beautiful isn’t just a word; it has a deeper meaning than just physical appearance or something looking good.

The word “beautiful” is powerful because growing up, I heard the word beautiful, but I really didn’t understand what it really meant until I finally felt that you can’t always judge on the outer appearance of someone but the inside. Once here was this younger girl who had low self esteem because of the way she looked or the way she wanted to look. She looked every day in the mirror and the magazine wishing she could look like the cover girl on the magazine. She wished she had the perfect skin or the perfect magazine body. That little young girl was me. As I got older, I have gotten a true understanding that beauty is everywhere not only deep within, but it’s your outlook on things which is beautiful.
