This I Believe Internships
An internship at This I Believe provides students with a wide variety of experiences in the areas of Nonprofit Administration, Communications, Education, Broadcasting/Audio Production, and Journalism. Other suitable candidates would be those studying Humanities, Business Administration, English, or Religious Studies.
Internships are unpaid; however, each intern leaves with real-world job experience, and an excellent reference for his or her résumé. Interns are expected to work between fifteen and twenty hours per week; however, hours can be adjusted to fit the student’s schedule.
In addition, interns are encouraged to spend some time on a special project of their choice. The special project should be something that suits the student’s particular interests or educational goals, and should be discussed and agreed upon before taking the internship position.

• Essay Reviewing
• Graphic Design
• Nonprofit Administration (available in Louisville office only)
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are very organized and detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience at a mid-level nonprofit organization. Resourcefulness, ability to take initiative, and to work both independently and as a team are vital. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
