Without my friends im worthless
Share This Essay:
Ever since I was thirteen I have demonstrated a strong relationship to each one of my friends. They are just as important to me to my family.
I believe that my friends are what get me through each day of my life. They are always there to comfort me when I need them. I went through a hard time when I had to leave all my friends when moving from California to Florida. It was one of the hardest things I have ever experienced. I had grown up with each one of them; they were like family to me. My parents made me move because of my dad’s job. I would have never thought of moving and leaving all the people I loved.
Well I had to. So I moved to Florida and several new friends have come into my life. I will never forget my first day of high school. This one girl had come up to me and introduced herself. Her name was Stephanie Burger, she is sweet, innocent, caring, and the type of friend, people wish for. We have such a strong relationship and I don’t think it will ever change. Having friends helps you along in everything that you do. You learn so much from what you do compared to what other people do as well. Friends introduce you to new things and people along life. When my parents divorced I couldn’t stay inside my house with them fighting all the time. I needed somewhere to go. I was embarrassed to ask my friends if I could stay at one of their houses but I had to. Stephanie had let me stay at her house for a few weeks until things got better. She welcomed me in as if I was part of their family. Without her I’m pretty sure I would have gone crazy inside my house. Things were extremely tuff me for at that time but Stephanie helped me through it.
To me friendship is a great gift. Friends give you the ability to have laughter, loyalty, and make memories. When I am with my friends I am always laughing. They make me laugh to wear tears run down my cheeks and wear my abs are cramping so bad it feels as I just did a million crunches. Whenever I get embarrassed I tend to just laugh and know my friends will be right by my side doing the same thing. My friends and I are those obnoxious girls who are loud and always talking.
I believe that friends have respect for each other. My family couldn’t stress to me enough how important respect is through my childhood. They have taught me to treat others how you want to be treated. This is why I look for friends who have these traits. They are very important to me. My friends always listen to what I have to say. Friends usually tend to act the same, have the same tastes, and even dress the same. That’s why my friends and I have gotten along so well throughout these years. I find it so interesting how long our friendships have lasted.
I believe that friendship is a large essential in life. If you are ever feeling alone or needing someone to talk to, friends are the best solution for it. I believe that you cannot survive without having the company of a friend. Friends are there for loyalty and will always have your back through everything. They are something you need no matter what and I have no idea what I would do without my friends who have helped me through each obstacle in my life.
