I Believe in College

Sometimes things in college go wrong but sometimes things go right, I don’t know how things are going to go with me yet, but what I’m sure about is that I’m trying my best, not just get along with college but to pass and enjoy all my classes. I am currently attending classes at Nashville Technical Community College. I don’t have a major yet, I am really confused on what I want to do the rest of my life, but one thing I cannot get out of my head is that I need to finish college. I encourage everyone to start a college career no matter his age, sex nor race and become somebody important in life, be someone that can obtain the capability to support his or her family.

These kinds of people is what our society needs to improve our lives, to be better people and make this our only home [world] a better place to live in. You may be desperate to know exactly what you want to be in life, but my advice is to take it easy, take your time to think about what you want to become, just remember this “no matter your age, your sex nor your race, start college anywhere you are” these words will always boom inside my head, it’s what pushes me to continue on with my education. Some times when I stop and meditate them, everything makes sense. Anybody can go ahead and progress in life but it’s not going to be by sitting down, we need to fight for our goals in order for them to become true. That is when happiness will truly come in and fulfill our hearts.

Now it is the end of the summer term, I am so glad and content that I passed the English class. I know I am ready for my next task which is waiting for a valiant student like me to get over it. Even though sometimes it seems a little hard and occasionally we think about giving up and just go back to our usual job to earn some money to later go and waist it at the mall during the weekend. If we let ourselves to be trapped in this uncomfortable situation we will never progress. However we are people that are anxious of having success and accomplish our dreams, so I encourage you to not let your future off your hands. Instead lift up your face and let God bless you and direct you to where you’re suppose to go. But never forget about college, about becoming a professional in whatever major you please to choose. May God bless you and your family, and may its mercy be always with you.
